Phần 1: Hướng dẫn cài đặt MDaemon 13.5.1

*Giới thiệu qua 1 chút về mô hình mạng của của mình như sau:
MDaemon server > Switch > Router (Có IP tĩnh) > Internet

1. Chuẩn bị:

Tải về bộ cài đặt MDaemon từ trang chủ http://www.altn.com/Downloads/ . Nếu sử dụng với mục đích học tập và nghiên cứu thì bản dùng thử 60 ngày từ trang chủ có lẽ là đủ.

Mật khẩu giải nén: enterpassword 

2. Cài đặt

Sau khi tải về bộ cài đặt, các bạn giải nén và chạy file cài đặt md1351_en.exe

Nhấn Next để bắt đầu cài đặt

Nhấn I Agree để tiếp tục

Chọn đường dẫn thư mục cài đặt MDaemon (ở đây mình để đường dẫn mặc định là C:\MDaemon)

Installation Type:
- Chọn "I already have a registration key (enter it here)" nếu bạn đã mua bản quyền MDaemon
- Chọn "I want to install a fully functional 60 days trial of MDaemon PRO" nếu bạn muốn sử dụng bản dùng thử

Nhấn Next để tiếp tục

Chọn quốc gia: Vietnam [VN] rồi nhấn Next để tiếp tục

Nhập các thông tin cần thiết: tên, địa chỉ, email, số điện thoại…

(lưu ý: địa chỉ email phải là địa chỉ email bạn quản lý để có thể vào đó để nhận key dùng thử)

Nhấn Next để tiếp tục cài đặt

Nhập một thông tin: số lượng người dùng, giải pháp mail hiện tại, lĩnh vực hoạt động…

Chọn Next để tiếp tục cài đặt

Nhập key dùng thử (Alt-N gửi vào địa chỉ email bạn cung cấp ở bước trước) hoặc sử dụng 1 trong các trial key dưới đây, sau đó chọn Next để tiếp tục

Your Domain Name?

-Domain name: Bạn cần phải thay thế "company.mail" bằng tên miền riêng của bạn. Đây là tên miền chính trong MDaemon
- IMAP/POP host name: bạn nên đặt hostname phân giải đến địa chỉ IP public của MDaemon server
Ví dụ: mail.congty.com

Your Fist Account
Nhập tên người dùng chịu trách nhiệm quản lý MDaemon server, tài khoản sử dụng là postmaster, có đầy đủ quyền quản trị, mật khẩu người dùng

Nhấn Next để tiếp tục

Nhấn Next để tiếp tục

Bỏ tích Start MDaemon và Nhấn Finish để hoàn thành cài đặt

Copy 2 file MDaemon.exe và MDAirSync.dll vào thư mục App trong thư mục cài đặt MDaemon (trên máy của mình là C:\MDaemon\App) chọn Copy and Replace

Hoàn thành cài đặt, mở MDaemon lên

Create bootable USB flash drive using DISKPART

Prepare: PC running windows 7, USB flash drive 4GB, media windows DVD (or ISO file)
Step 1: Insert windows DVD into drive (or mount ISO file) and make note of the drive letter
Step 2: Insert USB flash drive into computer and make note of the drive letter
Step 3: Go to Start menu | type cmd | righ-click cmd.exe | select Run as Administrator
Step 4: Run diskpart to prepare...
diskpart
list disk
select disk ?
clean
create partition primary
select partition 1
format fs=ntfs quick label="Win8.1-Pro-x64"
active
exit
* You should still be in the command prompt window
Step 5: in the command prompt windows type drive letter of media windows
C:\Windows\system32>H:
H:\cd boot
H:\boot> bootsect.exe /nt60 I:
H:\boot>exit
Step 6: copy all files and folders from media windows to usb flash drive (in my case: copy from H: to I:)

Create bootable USB using DISKPART for OS installation

Prepare: PC run windows 7, USB with capacity >= 4GB, media windows (DVD, ISO file)

1)   Insert the media windows DVD in a drive (or mount the ISO) and make note of the drive letter.  In my case it is drive H:

2) Put the USB in the computer and make note of the drive letter. In my case it is I: and 7.25GB

3) Go to Start > type cmd > right-click cmd.exe > select Run as Administrator

4) Run DISKPART to prepare the disk for the OS install {question mark “?” below should be replaced with the disk number of the USB drive you are using}

diskpart

list disk

select disk ?

clean

create partition primary

select partition 1

format fs=ntfs quick label=”Win8.1-Pro-x64”

active

exit

You should still be in the command prompt window

5) Now we need to copy the boot sector.  You should still be in the command prompt window

C:\Windows\system32>H:

H:\>cd boot

H:\boot>bootsect  /nt60 I:

H:\boot>exit

6) Copy all source from DVD to USB
